UTE needs your help and
expertise to promote its arts performance activities. With limited
full time staff, the assistance of volunteers is an important
and vital part of UTE to implement effective fund raising and
publicity campaigns and to execute organized and courteous theater
house management.
Because you have first
hand experience and an appreciation for the quality and talent
of the company's performance, it takes people like you to encourage
others in St. Louis and bi-state communities to come out, support
and enjoy a new and different theater company.

Below are some of the options
for volunteering:
All volunteers must attend
an orientation to learn general and emergency procedures. Volunteers
must commit to work two performances per production.
USHERS, under the direction
of the House Manager, volunteers ensure that patrons have the
best possible experience at the theater. In addition to actually
"ushering" people to their seats, ushers take tickets,
seat latecomers, stuff inserts into the programs, and-- most
important -- create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
FUNDRAISING: Volunteers
are responsible development and implementation of fundraising
projects which will assist in the support of the programming
and productions.
