How much are tickets?
Our general prices are:
General Admission: $15 advance/$18 at the
door
Students with I.D./Senior Citizens: $12 advance/$15
at the door
Group Rates for 20 or more is 20% off the
total ticket purchase
Season Pass for 3 shows: $40 General and
$31 Senior Citizen/Student (when scheduled)
How and where can tickets
be reserved and purchased?
Single tickets may be purchased at all MetroTix outlets (314-534-1111)
or at Afro
World, Inc.(314-389-5194).
Reservations, subscriptions, group sales
and charge by phone ticket orders are accepted at the Unity Theatre
Ensemble adminstrative office (314) 355-3586. Online Reservations
are also accepted at this website.
Are there any service
fees? There is a $1.00 service charge
for tickets purchased through Unity Theatre Ensemble by credit
card.
Can I get discounted tickets?
Group sale
discounts are 20% off the general ticket prices with groups of
twenty or more
per performance. Other discounted tickets
are available for Buy A Night and Let Us Entertain
You Fundraiser
Project. Email for further information
on these options.
Are there any ticket giveaways?
Yes. UTE promotes limited ticket giveaways
for each production through cooperation with selected St. Louis
radio stations.
How many performances
do you present for each production run?
At this time, each production is presented
for one weekend and six performances only.
What days of the week
do you have performances?
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
are reserved for public performances.
Opening Night
is when critics, theater board, and Circle of Unity VIP's attend
the performance. Reviews generally appear one to five days later.
Matinee performances
are presented on Saturdays and Sundays for
each production.
What time do your shows
start?
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 7:30 P.M.;
Matinees on Saturdays and Sundays @ 3:00 P.M.
When should I arrive at
the Theater?
The Box Office opens one hour before curtain.
The theater auditorium is open for seating thirty minutes prior
to curtain. Circle of Unity Supporters and Season Subscribers
(when promoted) are allowed entrance into
the auditorium before the general audience. Reserved tickets
are held until 15 minutes before curtain. While you wait for
the play
to begin you can enjoy our concessions or
complete mailing list form.
What happens if I arrive
late to the theater?
Latecomers will be seated at the House Manager's
discretion and only at an appropriate time during performance
so as to not distract the viewing audience or the performance.
What happens if I buy
a ticket, then discover I can't go to the Theater on that date?
All sales are final, and there are no
refunds* If at the last minute you are unable to use your
ticket(s), you may turn them in as a contribution to UTE. The
value of the donated
tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged
by mail. Tickets must be received or post marked no later than
Wednesday following the close of the production to be acknolwedged
as a donation. Tickets for past productions
cannot be considered a donation. If you are a Subscriber, and
the ticket(s) in question were purchased as part of a subscription
package,
they may be exchanged.
*Refunds are
issued ONLY in the unforeseen event of a performance cancellation.
Where can I park?
There is ample street parking available on
a first come basis and the nearby Metro Link Station. Parking
is generally free.
